Looking to learn more about personal finance? You can somehow relate to a family of 4 living in Canada? Look no further.
Welcome to Our Money Moves
This page is focused on personal finance topics and other money related reflexions. Using some of my past experiences and lessons learned, I am also providing content based on my own research as I am passionated about this subject and continue to keep learning about it.
I am also very much interested by social and environmental issues and since a lot of these are directly linked to “money” at some point or another, you will see some of these subjects appearing as well. Hoping it helps spark some conversations as we stay curious and learn about the world that surrounds us.
On a more personal note
we are a family of 4 living in Canada. My husband and I are both working full time in corporate jobs and our two toddlers keep us (extra) busy. You may notice that English is not my first language: my husband and I immigrated to Canada over 10 years ago and are now proudly Canadians.
Why a blog? I have always been willing to write a book and finally decided to get this blog started mostly to see if I was able to do it. My own interest for personal finances started a few years ago. I had been working in the corporate world for a few years in a very attractive Fortune 500 company when I realized I wanted a little bit more from life than working all 5 days of the week waiting for the next weekend. Sounds familiar? My husband and I are not actively looking to retire at 45… but we are definitely intentional about how we manage our money so we can enjoy life at its best with our family.
I hope you enjoy this blog and thank you for visiting!
